Anchor Points

Locations where a person feels comfortable and in control — places they gravitate to and return to.

An anchor point is a spot where someone is at ease and has an advantage: a corner they can put their back to, a doorway they control, a regular table. People naturally seek and return to anchor points.

Recognizing someone's anchor point tells you where they feel strong and where they'll likely retreat to. In reading a space, anchor points also reveal who 'owns' an area.
